Leavers Oast was built circa 1880 and originally used for drying and packing hops. It was converted into a home in 1960 and modernised to a very high standard by the present owners, Anne and Denis Turner in 1987.  The lovely gardens that surround the Oast extend to one and a half acres and provide guests with a pleasant area to walk around or relax in.

All rooms are centrally heated, spacious and very comfortably furnished. They have TV and coffee/tea making facilities and comfortable sitting areas.

The barn room

The main double room, which has an en-suite bathroom, has a lovely view over one aspect of the garden.

The roundel twin

There are two further bedrooms in the roundels, one a twin bedded room, the other with a double bed. These again have their own sitting area.  Both have pleasant outlooks over the main garden.  The bathroom for the roundel rooms is shared and just a few steps away.

A feature of your stay at Leavers Oast is the English Breakfast which offers a wide choice and includes home made bread and preserves.  This sets guests up for a day of exploring the many historic houses and gardens in Kent and Sussex.
